Frequently asked questions

When and how often are you available?

Currently unavailable

For long projects, I’m currently unavailable.

Latest content update: August 2024

As a general rule, I work for two or three clients a month, on missions that can take as little as a few days or as long as several months.

I rarely handle long, full-time assignments for a single client, but it can happen.

In any case, feel free to contact me, it’s always worth a chat.

Is it expensive?

Magic answer: it depends. But you might be surprised! I have worked with people with budgets ranging from $1,500 to $40,000. One way or another, we always find the best way to suit your budget.

How do you work?

It all starts with a short meeting (~1 hour) to go through the key points: who you are, who I am, what are your needs, constraints, budget, my availability, etc.

If we feel we want to work together, we can then discuss your problem in a little more detail, still free of charge. This way, I can provide you with a clear proposal of how I can help, at what price, and by which deadline.

For websites and web products creation, it is crucial to take things one step at a time. You come with your idea, but technical details or user interface issues might not be that clear at the start of the project. And that’s totally normal. As the project progresses, once you’ve got a functional prototype of the website and carried out user tests, you’ll have a better idea of what you really want. That’s why I often suggest breaking things into small project blocks, without ever being tied by potentially overly restrictive requirements at the beginning.

In short, the idea is to take enough time at the start to know where you want to go, when you want to get there and at what cost – but it’s only as you go along that you really fine-tune how to reach your destination.
